!!! This makes me so incredibly happy, particularly because it's finally getting me to tell you just how much I adored this story. I loved how scarred both of them were, and I loved the glimpses we got of Charles' past life and how much stronger he is than his circumstances. And of course I particularly loved how well they fit together. I am amazed at how flawlessly articulated the plot and the relationships between the characters were. Congratulations on a wonderful story; am off to reread :)
